California has been a multi-cultural and multi-lingual territory and state throughout its history. As a result, the major cities of California have many translation services and interpretation agencies with many highly qualified professionals that are capable of handling most jobs.

Because San Francisco is ideally located; it has always been at an excellent location for commerce and trade. As a result, San Francisco has been able to attract immigrants from all over the world. San Francisco is often described as having an international flair that at times can be dominated by Asian or Latin cultures. Unlike other cities, San Francisco has quarters that focus on Italians, Koreans, Italians, Chinese and Hispanics. Chinatown is about eight blocks long and has two long main streets, Grant and Stockton. It’s easy to give in to the urge to just shuffle down Grant Avenue, buy a few Chinatown souvenirs or t-shirts and miss the most interesting parts. The earthquake of 1906 had destroyed nearly all birth records in the city and allowed Chinese-born men to claim that they were American citizens. Consequently, they made the legal claim that to bring their families to America. When the new Chinatown was built it was considerably more cleaner and was greeted with open arms by the community. The “New” Chinatown, rebuilt in a distinctive Oriental style began to attract tourism and business such as San San Francisco Translation Services that helped improve San Francisco’s economy.

Similar to San Francisco, there are a large number of international events, recreational opportunities and entertainment venues to occupy your time in San Jose. Only 50-minutes away from San Francisco, is the city of San Jose which is warm during summer with temperatures in the 70′s and cool during winter with temperatures in the 50′s. This area was founded in 1777 when the village at Santa Clara was established and in 1797 the village of San Jose was founded. Throughout the Spanish-Mexican period, San Jose was a place of considerable importance. Around the year 1845, the population of the area swelled to nearly 800 people. Historians are quick to point out that even during San Jose’s early days the area had a unique Hispanic culture. In the last years of Mexican dominion it was the most prominent of the northern settlements in which the Hispano-Californian element predominated over the new American element. Although Mexico lost California and the Mexican soldiers retreated back into Mexico, that didn’t stop the settlement of San Jose from growing and prospering into the major U.S. city that it is today. This was partly due to the success of San Jose Translation. While San Jose was under the protection of the United States forces, it was attacked by the Indians in the region only 11 years later. In 1850, San Jose received the designation of city status and was also named the state’s first capital.

Unlike San Francisco and San Jose, San Diego is a metropolitan area located in southern California. It’s hard to believe that the original Spanish settlement that still stands today can be toured and is only a few miles away from the busy downtown business district. This area was always multilingual because of its closeness to Mexico and the fact that it changed hands numerous times. As a result of the occupations and proximity to Mexico, the San Diego Translation Services prospered. Because the population fell in the mid to late 1800′s, the land developers set out to establish a nearby community. Today, this new section that was build in the late 1800′s is known as San Diego.
